For example, if you want to study a Bachelor of Business and require the equivalent of IELTS Academic 6.0 to enter the course then firstly you can study Academic English and improve your English so that you can then enter directly into the Bachelor.

This course combines IELTS exam preparation and academic English skills which prepares students to understand and write academic content at both a college and university level. 

Key skills that are taught:

• How to write an academic essay
• Speed reading, note taking, research skills, draft writing, reference and bibliography writing
• Academic vocabulary
• Presentation skills – a very important skill that you will most likely use in your future career!
• Writing an opinion essay and supporting your argument

$350- $405 per week. Cost varies depending on number of weeks studied and campus. Please let us know the  number of weeks you plan to study and where so we can advise on the cost.

Note on fees: There may be other colleges that offer English tuition for a lower amount however it is important to understand that usually the higher the cost of a course means that a college can invest in its teacher training, infrastructure and course development. In our experience working in the industry we generally find that the higher the quality of the course the quicker students meet their learning goals.
