Bachelor of Business (Event Managaement)

  • No lectures of 100+ students, only small tutorial style classes of 20-25 students. 
  • Spread your study load over three trimesters each academic year. In Australia, most University students usually study 8 subjects over 2 long semesters each academic year. At Torrens University, students study 8 subjects over 3 shorter trimesters. For example Trimester 1= 3 subjects, Trimester 2= 3 subjects, Trimester 3= 2 subjects. This allows students more time to focus on each subject, often leading to better learning outcomes and less stress!

What will I learn?

Learn how to work to a clients brief and create an event from initial concept, marketing of the event, generating PR through to running the event. Learn about global trends in events, logistics and risk management. This course will also teach you the fundamentals of marketing, PR, project management and accounting for the purpose of being able to manage large projects and finances as your career develops in seniority. 

Then apply what you have learnt, through an internship in final year!
