....The Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) is the most comprehensive course within natural therapies that combines Homeopathy, Nutritional Medicine and Herbal Medicine with the purpose of supporting the body’s own natural healing mechanism.

This is taught with a modern scientific approach where naturopathy is recognised as a therapy which can exist together with modern medicine and where the two can complement each other. To achieve this, students graduate from this course with a deep understanding of bio chemistry, bio science and research and evidence based practice.

In this course, you will learn:

• How to identify a clients  needs and recommend a treatment plan using herbal medicine, nutritional advice and homeopathy to assist in achieving wellbeing

• How to use scientific principles such as biochemisty, anatomy and physiology to understand the relationship between natural herbs and medicine

• Botany-the study of plant biology and their healing properties for the purpose of herbal medicine

• About common drugs used in medical practices and pharmacology so as to compliment their effectiveness and avoid adverse effects

• Communication and counselling skills to be able to effectively handle sensitive situations

• Put your theoretical knowledge to practice through real work experience in the on-campus clinic where you will treat public patients

健康科学学士号（Naturopathy）は、身体の自然治癒メカニズムをサポートする目的で、ホメオパシー、栄養医学、漢方薬を組み合わせた自然療法の中で、最も包括的なコースです。

これは自然療法が現代医学と一緒に、互いに補完することができる治療法として、科学的に認められているアプローチによって教えられています。そのために、生化学、生命科学、研究と実践による結果を深く理解する事が必要です。

• 植物学 - 漢方薬の目的のための植物生物学とその治癒特性の研究

• 市販の薬と併用した場合の副作用を避けるために、医療行為および薬理学で使用される一般的な薬剤についての知識について学び、総合効果を高める

• クライアントのデリケートな話についてもうまく処理できるコミュニケーションとカウンセリングスキル

• 一般のクライエントを治療するキャンパス内の診療所での実務経験を通して、理論的知識を実践する

....It is possible to study a ONE year Diploma of Health Science (Naturopathy) which is the same as the first year of the Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). This is a popular choice for those who are not yet ready to commit to 4 years of study. It is important to understand that in Australia, in order to qualify as a Naturopathy, all students must graduate with a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) therefore a one year Diploma is not enough to practice as a Naturopath.

After completion of the one year Diploma you can decide to continue your studies and enter directly into the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). It is possible to have a gap year in-between the Diploma and the Bachelor however should the Bachelor course be upgraded during this time it is possible that you may need to study additional subjects before entering directly into the 2nd year. 

Note that there are additional visa associated costs payable to the immigration department if you decide to extend your course.

バチェラー　オブ　ヘルス　サイエンス（自然療法士）の初年度と同じでもある、1年間の健康科学自然療法学（ディプロマ）を学ぶことも可能です。これは、まだ４年間の勉強を約束する準備ができていない人には人気のある選択です。しかしオーストラリアでは、自然療法学者の資格を得るには、バチェラー　オブ　ヘルス　サイエンス（自然療法学）で卒業しなければならず、1年間の卒業証書は自然療法士としては十分ではありません。

1年間のディプロマを修了し、学業を継続する場合、健康科学学士号（自然療法学）の2年次に直接入ることができます。ディプロマの卒業証書と学士の間にギャップ年を設けることは可能ですが、この期間に学士課程がアップグレードされた場合、2年目に直接入る前に追加の科目を勉強する必要が生じる可能性があります。

また、コースを延長することを決めた場合、移民局に支払う追加のビザ関連費用がかかります。
